Hi,
I have had this problem before, when I was involved with an online forum - there's a "terminology" problem between Europe and North America. You guys call nearly every kind of clear varnish lacquer, including polyurethane. Over here, we tend to speak in more specific terms, as in "lacquer" is just that - acrylic lacquer, basically acrylic resin dissolved in lacquer thinner. Lacquer thinner is a mix of fairly strong chemicals, including toluene.
You would probably have better luck finding acetone, which will work as well.
Hope that helps,
John

Und das mit einer Lasermaschine, ist natürlich schon eine feine Sache. Aber ich denke sowas wird auch nicht gerade eine günstige Alternative sein oder? emoticon.wink_smile.title
